TV Set Design Aeschbacher Zurich, ZH
The TV sets for the weekly TV talk show Aeschbacher for SRF Swiss Television were created in a former laboratory of the Sulzer Escher Wyss company in Zurich's industrial district. The permanent stage design with its backlit opal glass cubes provides a clear, almost elegant counterpoint to the post-industrial patina of the building. Every shade of color can be controlled in the cubes, which means that new color and spatial moods can be created again and again.
Aeschbacher is moderated by Kurt Aeschbacher and has been running on SRF1 every Thursday since 2001.
