Redesign for an exclusive villa

A family wanted to make this country villa from the 1990s completely their home - and commissioned Andrin Schweizer and his team with a redesign to make parents and children feel truly welcome and at home. The client's particular wish was for a discreet modernization that would respect and carefully continue the character of the house with its international atmosphere and elegant appearance. The floor plan required only subtle interventions; only a few new partition walls now structure the living space differently. The surfaces and furnishings in particular have been redesigned. The interior designers drew on their extensive experience in high-quality hospitality design for this project.

Special housemates

The result is a detached house with sophisticated, elegant and opulent furnishings. The interior designers created elaborate built-in furniture exclusively for the property, which they coordinated precisely with the artistic natural stone work. The team was also presented with a very special requirement: the interior design had to explicitly take into account the family's animal housemates - including dogs, cats and reptiles. Surfaces and textiles were selected with particular care and several terrariums were harmoniously integrated into the living space in the form of built-in furniture.
